Feather white – brooch (numbered)

Description

The feather brooch is available in white and burgundy red. Each enamelled brooch is engraved and numbered, making it a unique collector’s item. Who deserves a feather in their cap? The feather comes in an elegant box.

Fun fact: This brooch pays homage to the remarkable history of Hotel Des Indes. The hotel in The Hague was built in 1858 as the city palace of Baron Van Brienen. The door knobs have a small hole in the top, where a white or red feather could be inserted. This way the servants knew exactly when they were or were not allowed to enter the room. The staff at the hotel therefore wear the small version of this white feather.
