Dolly Bellefleur brooch

For the quirky Dolly Bellefleur, Michael Barnaart designed this brooch. Strong images from both high and popular culture play an important role in the design of the brooches. Simplifying and abstracting Dolly’s silhouette (haute coiffure and elongated legs) creates a powerful and iconic image.
