mondrian dress in international exhibition
From October 13, 2016 to February 5, 2017 the Mondrian dress by Michael Barnaart van Bergen will be on display in the exhibition The Vulgar: Fashion Redefined at the Barbican Art Gallery in London. The design will be exhibited within the theme ‘Once and For All’, exploring the idea of the unique alongside relationship between fashion and art. The Mondrian dress will also be available at the Barbican shop.
Besides Michael Barnaart van Bergen this exhibition will be populated with pices from Manolo Blahnik, Courrèges, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Iris van Herpen, Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Raf Simons for Dior, Viktor & Rolf and Vivienne Westwood.
The exhibition travels to Vienna from February 24 to June 25.
