Etoile brooch (numbered)

Description

Brooch ‘Étoile’ is a modern interpretation of a grand cross or royal insignia for the major summer exhibition Design & Dynasty in the City Palace of Fulda (Germany). The colors of this characteristic star radiate outward, from warm to cool. As with conventional pieces, this piece of jewelery ‘elevates’ and illuminates the wearer. This brooch is made in a limited edition of 50 pieces.

Splendor exhibition! Baroque palace halls with huge chandeliers, stories about kings and queens, princes and princesses, royal crockery, royal jewels, it all appeals to the imagination. In the German city of Fulda this was shown in the spectacular summer exhibition Design & Dynasty about our own Orange-Nassau dynasty.

In the City Palace in Fulda you could see beautiful art objects from the Royal Collections and Paleis Het Loo, combined with surprising contemporary objects of pure craftsmanship. In the exhibition, Étoile lay on the writing table where Mr. Gijsbert Karel Graaf van Hogendorp wrote to the draft Constitution of the Netherlands (1814).
