The paisley design originated in Persia. However, this print became popular at Queen Victoria’s court in the UK. As a result, Scottish textile manufacturers in the town of Paisley started producing this motif and it became a global fashion phenomenon.<\/span> A journey from eastern allure to western elegance.<\/span> This paisley motif was designed by Michael Barnaart.<\/p>\n
