The royal summer exhibition Design & Dynasty in the City Palace of Fulda (Germany) opened on 17 June. Michael Barnaart designed the brooch ‘\u00c9toile’ for this exhibition. This brooch is a modern interpretation of a grand cross or royal order.<\/p>\n

Brooch \u00c9toile can be seen in Fulda on the writing table of Mr. Gijsbert Karel graaf van Hogendorp (1815) to whom he wrote the original concept of the Constitution of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

In the City Palace in Fulda you will also be able to see beautiful artefacts from the Royal Collections and Paleis Het Loo, combined with prominent Dutch designers, including Hella Jongerius, Jan Taminiau, Scholten & Baijings, Joep van Lieshout, and famous photographers such as Vincent Mentzel, Erwin Olaf, Scheltens & Abbenes and Gemmy Woud-Binnendijk.<\/p>\n
