Description

This design is the first knitted dress by Michael Barnaart.

The knitwear and trompe l’oeil (optic illusion) designs are inspired by the surrealistic fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli. Besides Coco Chanel, she was one of the most important fashion designers of the 20s and 30s.

Suit is presented at the Amsterdam Fashion Week in January 2009. Suit is the start of the knitwear designs by Michael Barnaart Bergen.

Dutch design: designed and produced in The Netherlands.

50% acryl
Wash at 30 degrees

Because of the comfortable fit it is easy to put the dress on without zipper or other closing.
