Description

The Kokeshi dolls by Sketch.inc are based on icons from the world of art, culture and design.

Kokeshi dolls are originally wooden dolls from Japan. The dolls have a large head and a body without arms or legs. Lucie Kaas (Denmark) designed this doll of beech wood and Becky Kemp (England) painted the doll by hand and provided the varnish layer. They fit the graphic style of Michael Barnaart.

Jean Paul (Gaultier) is 14,5 cm high and made of beech wood.
