dress purchased by central museum

In addition to the Mondrian dress and Mondrian III from 2011, the Centraal Museum Utrecht has now also purchased Aesa dress from the current collection (Spring 2015) by Michael Barnaart van Bergen. The dress can now be seen together with the Berlin chair and lamp by Gerrit Rietveld (1888 – 1964) in Hoog Catharijne. The showcase in which the design has been placed in a historic framework by the Centraal Museum will be shown for 6 to 8 weeks. It is estimated that 500,000 people walk along the showcase every week.
