The stage hit ‘Eten met Vrienden’ is after ten years back in the Dutch theaters, with costumes by Michael Barnaart van Bergen. It is the Dutch version of Dinner with Friends, a 2000 play written by Donald Margulies and won the prestigious American Pulitzer Prize.
What begins as a dinner between two friendly couples, turns quickly to a tough confrontation. The play was translated by culinary journalist and columnist Sylvia Witteman and is played by Rick Engelkes, Miryanna van Reeden, Kees Boot and Lone van Roosendaal.
