Today, Speaker of the House Vera Bergkamp wore the Dolly Bellefleur brooch in the House of Representatives. Member of Parliament Kiki Hagen also wore the brooch.

“Let love reign” has been Dolly’s motto for over 33 years.

Michael Barnaart designed this brooch for the Made in Dolland exhibition, about the idiosyncratic visual language of Dolly Bellefleur. By simplifying and abstracting Dolly’s silhouette (haute coiffure and long legs), a powerful and iconic image is created.
